We are so honored by our friends and family who are coming all the way to Mexico to celebrate us, we don’t want anyone to feel obliged to give us a gift. However, we acknowledge that some guests may wish to do so and we respectfully ask that in lieu of gifts, donations be made to one of our favorite charities.
LOS CABOS CHILDREN’S FOUNDATION
While we’ll all be enjoying margaritas on gorgeous beaches, it’s important to remember that not everyone who lives in Cabo is as fortunate. Cabo is wonderful, but one of the things that makes Cabo so amazing is the people, and we wanted to pick a charity that gives back to them. For the past 15 years, The Los Cabos Children’s Foundation (LCCF)’s mission has been to promote, fund, monitor and strengthen programs that have a focus on health for children in Baja California Sur. Colorado canine rescue
Anyone who knows us knows our Lily is the pride and love of our lives. And we never would have found her if it weren’t for Colorado Canine Rescue (CCR). Founded in 2008 by four friends, CCR has no central facility. It has no paid employees and is 100% dependent on volunteer help. All dogs live in foster homes while they are cared for and wait for their forever home to find them. As of 2018, they have rescued over 1200 dogs that were “next-in-line” at the shelters and or relinquished from their owners (Lily being one of them). They continue to grow as resources become available, but this is done slowly to ensure each dog gets the individual attention it needs, and receives the appropriate care and best possible placement in its forever home.
